Jane Iris Designs owner and entrepreneur Patti-Ann ( P.A. ) Sansone, moved from the east coast to San Diego in 1987 to continue her nursing career. Patti- Ann’s love of art found her on an additional path. In 1995, she created a company “Star Marketing” with P.A. represented emerging and established artists. One of these artists was Jane Sipe, the original creator and visionary behind Jane Iris Designs. In 1997 this company evolved into “The Gallery” Bed-and-Breakfast, featuring receptions for talented artists and guest performers, as well as conductors of the San Diego Symphony.

Jane passed the baton to her representative, P.A in 1998 to pursue a different path.

Since 1981, Jane Iris Designs has been known as the premier symbolic jewelry company. Jane’s symbolic imagery has been worn by models, celebrities, as well as U.S. Olympians. As of today, Jane Iris Designs has a worldwide audience, with the entire Jane Iris collection made in the USA. Jane Iris continues to produce quality symbolic jewelry designs that sell both retail and wholesale. In 2003 Pat Pearlman's figure imagery was merged with Jane Iris Designs and in 2019, Martha Prentiss passed on her company to Patti-Ann to continue her legacy. Representing these 3 exceptional visionary women has been an honor and a joy.

In 2002, OUTmall was created as an adjunct company; featuring sophisticated imagery for the gay and lesbian community.
